We are actively seeking for a skilled and forward-thinking R&D engineer to spearhead the design and development of cutting-edge materials, processes, and integration strategies within our device fabrication workflows. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your comprehensive knowledge of materials and chemical sciences to unlock innovative functionalities in our flexible pressure sensors, while playing a vital part in our mission to redefine and revolutionize the landscape of sensors manufacturing. Your expertise will be instrumental in seamlessly translating lab-scale processes to our distinctive digital manufacturing platform.
Your Responsibilities
- Execute experiments to investigate processing-structure-property relationships across a wide range of materials
- Innovate and implement advanced synthesis processes for materials and composites integration
- Utilize sophisticated bulk and surface characterization techniques to assess material and chemical structures.
- Design and conduct material property tests to evaluate mechanical, electrical, magnetic, and thermal characteristics of our materials.
- Analyze experimental data, extract key insights, and present comprehensive reports during regular team meetings.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration, effectively communicating and collaborating with experts from different disciplines to comprehend materials requirements and provide valuable feedback based on materials expertise.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification of a Master’s degree with a minimum of two years of work experience.
- Strong practical experience in laboratory settings, specifically in processing and characterizing materials.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team, based in China.
- In-depth understanding of material structural, chemical, and electronic properties.
- Experience with flexible pressure sensors is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in working with a variety of materials, including metals and polymers.
- Extensive knowledge and practical application of characterization techniques
- Proven track record of applying fundamental engineering principles to materials and functional systems, such as smart systems, industrial turbines, automotive detection systems, health monitoring systems, and more.
